Teachers are struggling with COVID-19 protocols in schools to ensure safety. Unfortunately, it is leading to unintended negative consequences from students leading to a possible shortage of staff for the upcoming academic year. In this episode of The Half Hour, YuYu Yuan and Spencer Travis break down the pandemic’s impact on U.S. education.

The Half Hour is a current events podcast designed with the intention of helping Extemp competitors (and other Speech and Debate members, as well as listening for the general public) understand the importance of political, social, or economical events on a domestic and international scale.
